Thanks. That's exactly what has spurred this conversation. I've been
having conversations in off-list threads about pipewire. I'm highly
interesed in doing work on this, and I think perhaps this would be the
best way to collaborate and get feedback from the overall community of
musicians and audion enthusiasts.

So, perhaps a conversation can be had to create a second kickstart for
GNOME and keep the KDE kickstart?

But, that's the goal: to get users to give feature requests and issues
to pipewire. I am not sure that can be adequately accomplished in KDE
Plasma.
