Yes, I used a shorthand term, since I am apparently

I don't think it does, but if you really want to know,
you can always go to Intel's processor model
site (ark), and look for line of the form:
  "Intel® VT-x with Extended Page Tables (EPT)"
for your processor (if it is not there, the answer
is no, if it is there you have it), or just look at
/proc/cpuinfo and look for "ept" in the vmx flags.

That should probably be the most reasonable
path forward (allowing those that want to
step up to propose and build their qemu-slower-is-better
package to do so).
