the rpms i have migrated with alien are found on the opensuse repositories:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jjohnny:/evolution-exchange-mapi-provider/Fedora_9/i386/
these are the fedora9 packages, the opensuse ones cannot be migrated to *deb (a
shame since the suse ones are more recent)
as you can see the latest fedora9 rpm version of the evolution-mapi-provider is
the 2008-05-26.0-5.1.i386

This is being fixed right now
Can you run evolution under GDB and send us the stacktraces when it
crashes. Also , version information of the evolution-mapi-provider
packages would be helpfull.
