So task 1 is to record the details of all candidates for each location,

How about some sample tasks e.g.:

1. Transpose details of leaflets
2. Record dates of local meetings
3. Attend local meeting and take notes
4. Report details of candidates actions/editors letters in local papers
5. etc

Yes, but if people think its opened commitment they won't sign up. If
its 'spare 10 minutes' for this or take notes at a meeting you were
going to anyway
