I stand corrected. Roughly speaking, it's a criminal offence to sell a  
copy of a copyright protected work without permission of the owner of  
the copyright, or distribute or exhibit such a copy in the course of a  
business. If you're not doing it in the course of a business, then the  
copyright owner must prove prejudice (presumably that means some loss,  
including loss of sales).
