This, incidentally, is the main new-thing I'm working on.
Complete lack of email destinations to send reports to, though - and by
design, because at least one council has made it extremely clear that such
reports are *not welcome at all*. Mostly they're mucking about with things
like this in anticipation of the DoE handing down a 'thou shalt
fixthystreet' edict at some point before 2015, because building it was in
the new coalition's programme for government.
On the basis that left to its own devices our government would in fact build
not fixmystreet, but 34 copies of this abomination (turns out I was right),
am currently working on a FMS install that recasts councils as council
*wards* and bugs the local councillors instead, FMS-Canada-style.
Needed (and any help welcome):
1. As many more of these scrapers as possible to fill in the gaps in the
TODO list:
http://scraperwiki.com/scrapers/ie_councillors_all/
2. Am currently walking through the most recent secondary legislation on
electoral boundaries to assign all ~3400 electoral divisions to the right
'parent' constituency/council constituency/Euro objects in mapit.
Sooner we can get 1) sorted, the sooner I can push this thing out of the
door. Aiming for late-Sept.
