2007/2/15, Robert Schwebel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
If that's a political statement which reflects the position of the
dotgnu developers we can stop the discussion here and I'll spend my time
for better things, because it's really pointless.

It is just my personal opinion. I am sorry if my messages are a bit
inflammatory. Actually, my opinion does not matter much as far as
pnet is concerned. It is Klaus who these days have the final say on
it.

The installation of required packages will perhaps take less time
than this discussion. Though, I am still not convinced that there is
any urge for it.

I don't start hunting
bugs which may be long solved, just because it is not allowed to update
to that versions being supported by the maintainers of the involved OSS
projects (which is only the latest and greatest).

Hmm, why do you say it is not allowed to update? Nobody can forbid you to
use the versions you want.

I think there is no problem if you write your patches assuming that we all
have the same version as you. If I find out that it does not work with mine
it will make real substance to convince me to upgrade.

Could you also send a single combined patch for all off your build system
changes.

Regards,
Aleksey
