Call for:
Determining a media package

Description:
We need to determine package to place the data of the media project.
We like to grab the opportunity to decide on a package structure that allows all future extensions to be included in the mmbase package structure without causing confusion with (for isntance) core packages or functionality.
We have the following sugegstions:

- use the existing 'applications' package (wich currently includes xmlimporter, editwizard, and dove):

org.mmbase.applications.media

- a new package for 'extensions' :

org.mmbase.ext.media

- a new main package name, moduled after java / javax:

org.mmbasex.media

Someone pointed out that the last idea might conflict with the convention to use a domain name for the main package name. I don't think that is a big issue, but others migth think differently.

We ask you to give a vote for each package name:
+1 if you like the name, +0 if you are indifferent or don't like it much, -1 if you have practical objections (as opposed to taste), and VETO if you have serious show-stopping issues with it.
