In some tests a did a year or so ago, the 2.0n was able to do around 94 Mbit/s, so there shouldn't be any fixed limit here. If your modem performs NAT in one of it's configuration, you could try switching the Fonera to bridge mode, meaning it will connect its WAN and LAN ports in a plain layer-2 switch / bridge configuration, removing the need for packets to pass through the CPU at all.
