Well for major structural questions like the data project there should be a sound majority of committers who feel those should be changed. The data affects ALL projects and libraries (except BrowserMap maybe for most parts;-) so it's good to have democratic decisions here that most can live with.
For the API sometimes fewer people are involved, and if it's not something alienating everyone (especially possible users;-) things can be done a bit different for Java, .NET, PHP, etc. Werner On Tue, Aug 26, 2014 at 12:42 AM, eberhard speer jr. <[email protected]> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Simple spaces already give rise to 'changes' in the Id. > > Address DMAP-84 [which you opened *after* I raised the issue and it > dawned on you...] and that fixes it for now, for you... > > I'm done 'debating' these obvious issues for no obvious reason. > Waste of time. > > esjr > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (MingW32) > > iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJT+7vGAAoJEOxywXcFLKYcNNcIAKYWbYg7XcqKLzgYiapE8hS6 > 1n2e1t9v2WGs+ZkRgQcmuUoZIwNmXHHbhaMw3wOYKzOTiv4SORtr5czOMPMq9yyO > ZUclCe5BVGwBWS8ZkR68bYO1f09kKJg9+YwdjIastfrQ4jrWgoLEQuHJvEI6NOFb > DCtBK+nuV670ookK50526bnqqs600bpXIjAL6YKol8SKFa7LzB59L7fuPqblODfD > gmqt4woFZxm3WsGemmzEK6cJzmtuPvhR63Aeq4N8VncD8ZbGK3kmJ4tWxD7Zioqo > qCEz9ROp8Ye99VwOTrhlUzzkfP1FReEmISkoDGTzQ/ew0eMW8bzcm0ptv2NriCM= > =pBPa > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- >
