I just installed the binaries and it worked straight out of the box. What
did I do wrong? (right!)

Last month, I submitted a brief how-to to add the
htdig search engine for web sites on e-smith 4.0
servers. I am happy to report that the same procedure
works fine on 4.1.1. However, it does require
compiling htdig from the source on a Red Hat 7 box.
