Obtuse smtpd just receives mail. smtproutes works as before for
delivering outbound mail.

Sorry to go back over this, but I still don't see any reason why you
need to. qmail-smtpd just receives SMTP and puts it in the queue, as
does Obtuse smtpd. All other features of qmail are intact.
