Get your users to use IMAP.

There is the email backup done.

As far as email to xyz and then go to ABC.

use groups and pseudonyms together.

Make a group called "People to receive a copy of mail when sent to ABC".

Then create a pseudonym called - recievergroupABC and link that to the above
group.

Then with the user in question.  Set their mail to be delivered locally and
forwarded.  Put in recievergroupABC as the forwarded address.

The email is forwarded there.  The pseudonym then distributes it to all the
people in the group.  Easy!
