That was not my intention - Darrell stated that the release was not
compelling enough for him. Our customers believe we have a compelling
offering in our supported product SME Server V5 with ServiceLink. This
includes support, Virus Protection, IPSEC VPNs, automated DNS publishing,
reliable email with automated backup with more features to come.

Charlie and I were stating that we have other drivers, and not all of
the features of 5.1 are available in the public release. Charlie also
stated technical reasons why we can't move to the 2.4 kernel right now
without losing features which our customers require.

I believe that releasing 5.1 into Beta is a statement of what we can
achieve in the 5.1 release.

Sure, and we all benefit from that.

We strongly value the contribution by everyone on this list. And in return
we integrate as much as we can in the time available.
