Postfix wasn't around in any (public) form at the time that qmail was 
integrated into e-smith.

[Some of you will remember the nickname which Dan Bernstein coined for
what eventually became known as Postfix - "Vapormail", as it was being
touted by Vietse Venema (as VMail) for a very long time before anybody
else got to see it.]
