Well, with Kmail under Linux I can just hit 'L' to reply to the list only. A bit harder if you are running Windows. There is KDE on Cygwin (http://kde-cygwin.sourceforge.net/) which may or may not have kmail working. I'm sure there is at least one mail client for Windows that actually has a 'reply to list (only)' function. I have heard rumors that Sylpheed / Claws for Win32 (http://sylpheed-claws.sourceforge.net/win32/) has reply-to-list functionality, but have not checked it out myself.
