>>Streaming multi-media ( broadcasting audio / video ) over freenet, >>
>>should be possible, with the incorporation of some minor elements.

>When people say streaming, they mean of of two things. Either they mean
>start playing the file before it has completely downloaded, or >they mean
>live broadcasts. You seem to mean the former, which is good >because the
>latter is insane.

I can understand the issue of security, however - there are freenet users
who are not mortified at the thought of " government ".

Some users of freenet may choose to never reveal a sliver of information,
however - there are other users who are simply tired
of big money controlling the regular internet.

For the experimentally inclined, LIVE video or audio feeds may be a method
to attract a larger more diverse crowd - rather than keeping
freenet in a cloak and dagger closet marked do not enter at the fear of
death.

The Absolute vs Minimalist in security issues must remember one thing.
Without a growing user base or increase in node size and activity ..
no amount of material will help. This will be become a stagnate project
remembered for its thoughts of good intentions.
