Please, please, please, whoever does this... also simulate nodes
*leaving the network* permanently and taking their entire stores
with them.  (Also, simulate nodes that go away for 6, 12, 24 hour
stretches.)

I have a funny feeling that the simulations that have been done so
far assumed that nodes tended to stay up forever.
