Well, actually illegal porno and sofwares and mp3s are only 2 clicks
away from web interface: just go to TFE and there you can find links
to all material you want in order to attack Freenet on a "moral"
basis.

And that is the problem, it's not a legal question, for that should
suffice not to link directly illegal material and to prepend a warning
(like TFE) to the bookmarks.

The problem arose from "moral" war anyone can always do speaking about
something that is unknow to most of her audience.

It's always possible to find out Freenet on tomorrow 9 o'clock news
and it has equal probability to be told about:
as "a step toward the future"
as "a defence against government intrusion"
as "a weapon in Iraqi hands" or
as "a place where our children are abused and tortured".

That depends on journalist mood... unfortunatly last two are much more
shocking and interesting for the "people" (so, not really equal
probability, after all...)

Think about it, how can't you blame google for linking to sites that
link to illegal sites?
Why don't we do a crusade to make it stop these "illegal behaviors"?

Because many many people use it, know it and find it useful and
dangerless.

Let's make Freenet usable and easy and user-friendly and everything
needed to make a LOT of people using it: that will be our biggest
defence.
