Are you serious? I can imagine someone making that kind of argument against dynamic page generation in 1994, but not now. There is no way that we are going to migrate our website to a hosting option that does not support some form of dynamic page generation, that would be total insanity. Brendan is right, this should be done server-side, and we'd be totally handicapping ourselves if we don't have the ability for server-side dynamic page generation. I don't like using Javascript for this, and I certainly don't like the assumption that we are no-longer permitted to do any dynamic page generation server side. That is crazy.
