I think it's a fallacy to believe that you can create plausible
deniability of the mere /use/ of freenet. The best you can do is
demonstrate plausible deniability on whether or not a /particular/
file was present on the system.

Some countries (china, the US, etc) don't allow their citizens access to
certain information. Those citizens either need access controls so they
can claim they took reasonable precautions against redistribution of
the censored data (ie, an automated way of tagging and removing data from
their node) -OR- plausible deniability as to whether or not the information
was ever there to begin with, depending on the legal climate of the country.
