I actually called Sun a week ago about licensing JRE for something I'm
working on. After a few days I Eventually got a callback from regional
manager Shawnee Williams. She said that it was allright if I created an
installer which had JRE and its installer built in, I did say that I
wouldn't modify the original JRE installer but I got the impression that it
was allright either way.

OK, I just did check it out, and I'm pretty sure that adding the JRE is
very inappropriate.

Two things in particular bug me:

* The package with JRE included is non-redistributable. That
is, people can't download the exe with the JRE in it and
post it anywhere.

* We agree to indemnify Sun against any problems with the
JRE. This seems totally reckless and stupid.

I understand why there is support for having this in the distributed
exe, but it just seems like a really bad idea.

For this reason, I've deleted the *-withjava-* stuff from
