Rijndael has had theoretical attacks, and is looking a bit shaky, but
there isn't anything better, so we will continue to use it. For the
moment we will stick with SHA-256 for a hash. Even if Rijndael is secure
that doesn't mean Whirlpool is; the requirements are different.
