No, it has to build with 1.5, 1.6-produced 1.5 code does not necessarily work 
on a 1.5 JVM as I understand it. I will continue to remove anything that 
prevents plugins and fred itself from building on 1.5, even though I only use 
1.5 when releasing such things.
