Why keep it separate? If someone goes through the effort of an object
file generator that helps improve interoperability with visual studio
produced obj files, it should just be folded in.
The point is to avoid having Walter pay all the burden of maintaining it.
(Also it's one step in the direction of a more distributed development.)
