It's just two paradigms: if you choose freedom, GPL ensures and protects
the freedom. You can also provide your efforts to corporations - why
not? - proprietary licenses and patents are *adequate* means to do it.
I choose to provide my efforts to *anyone* without discrimination. I.e.
freedom without strings attached.
