In this case the dirvish is ran locally, no networking in this case.
 
Basicly I think that the Dirvish(and rsync) are working normally but the vast 
amount of files and folders is doing a bit of a trick in here. This is why it's 
best in my opinion for us just to backup our clients(vhosts) files and mails, 
not to backup entire system with etc-folders etc. I think this will speed-up 
the process a lot.
