I generally exclude all tmp directories:
tmp/**
Also cache directories and such :)
I generally find it useful to look at the dirvish logfile (inside the
image directory, at the same level as the summary file) to see what
files actually are being transferred every time. That may give hints on
what to exclude or to otherwise handle differently.
I also noted that you had a line "rsh: ssh" in your config; as rsync has
defaulted to ssh now for a long time, you might as well leave that out.
It might be appropriate to have such a line if using extra options to
ssh, e.g. a special backup identity file.
