Since you asked, I'll tell you what my problem is.
My problem is that I am getting fed up with the number of utterly
stupid questions being asked by utterly stupid people who have no
business being in the Internet business.
My problem is that someone who never heard the word "subnet" before
intends to start taking people's money to touch the DNS. This does
not bode well for an industry that is already painfully short on clue.
My problem is that I ANSWERED the question; I did not ASK the
question. Yet "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" apparently lacks the reading
comprehension skills to have figured that out, and decided to "help"
me out by answering a question I didn't ask. Furthermore, he answered
it in private mail to me, quoting the original question as well as my
answer AND my signature, and to top it off he quoted it in that
irritating and incorrect "Jeopardy" style. Then he topped off the
topping by giving a WRONG ANSWER. (Hint: a list of IP addresses is
not a subnet.) This is not the way to get on my good side.
My problem is that I have been watching "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" post to
this mailing list for some time, and virtually everything he says is
useless, inappropriate, and/or wrong. Posting private mail to a
public mailing list is just another example of his ignorance.
I apologize for this inappropriate posting. I will not continue this
discussion any further, and will simply ignore this guy in the future.
I should know better than to respond at all, but occasionally even I
make an error in judgment.
