Here is a thought. OpenSRS is aimed squarely at the Canadian/U.S market,
as that is the market the staff at Tucows is familar with. Also consider
that since OpenSRS is located in Canada/U.S. (offices with development
staff in both countries), their expenses are quite a bit higher than if
they would be based out of India.
What really needs to happen is the Indian RSP's need to find an
organization like OpenSRS but which is run from India, then the pricing
would more reflect their local market.
I don't see any way possible for OpenSRS to be able to compete in that
market without firing all of their current staff and moving operations to
India.
