glad you provided lots of information backing your strong opinion (sarcasm)

Oh well. The resellers that would leave would be leaving for completely
illogical reasons. Why would anyone leave if OpenSRS is improving? Makes no
sense to me. Seems more like pseudo blackmail to me. i.e. "Hey OpenSRS we
will leave if you offer services we are offering". Leave then, why would
OpenSRS want resellers that are in the way of progress for very selfish
reasons?

Leaving accomplish absolutely nothing for the Reseller who does leave. If
the argument is that "hey there is no differentiation" then what does
leaving accomplish? Nothing. They would leave and still compete with the
same OpenSRS resellers they were complaining about but with a different,
maybe inferior registrar! So that argument holds very little water ...

> Lastly, if you are expecting domain registration to be a profit center
You have missed my point. If you read every single email I wrote on this
issue you will notice I mentioned nothing about a profit center. Why do you
bring this point up? Is that some standard argument you think you can always
win?

My major point is simple and I will repeat it again:
Other registrars with resellers offer the extra services. So overall the
other registrars are more competitive than OpenSRS resellers as a whole. And
so OpenSRS then by definition is less competitive than the other registrars.
That is not a good thing. If OpenSRS offers the extra services then the
competitiveness of all their resellers increases and that would result in
more sales (in theory) and so OpenSRS becomes more competitive.

Now those this action adversely affect some resellers on the short run? Yes.
But overall it is better for OpenSRS and thus all their resellers.
