We have been rapidly expanding our breadth of offerings lately, and which of course, invariably includes your potential for fraud.
We have found recently that SRS's policies regarding not refunding or canceling registered names has left us in an interesting conundrum. Although we have over 1800 names w/ SRS to date, I am finding the price point ($10) is putting us at a competitive disadvantage. And yes, all, price is not the only issue. But since we now have to screen almost each and every name order, it kinda puts the benefits of the API, etc. at a reduced value (since we have to manually approve, etc.) I am interested in any and all information (off list if preferred) of registrars that offer a much more reasonable price point, and ones that offer at least a few days cancellation (even at reduced charge). To date, I can't seem to get anyone @ SRS to be interested in supporting my activities. I'm prolly not in the minority here. Anyways, sorry for posting non-SRS related info to the list, but I figured this was the best place to dig this up.. (for me, getting the names @ 7-7.5 increases my margins for renewals, etc.(1800+ names) significantly and reduces my losses on any fraud by that much more... Jason (sorry chuck)
