We should remember that the RWI (aka quickstart) was intended to allow someone to get started right away while they installed the client code or their own custom system. I'm a bit surprised that you've been putting up with using the RWI for so long without installing at least the client code. ;)
We do 5 to 20 domains a month. Putting up anything custom or semi-custom, even the client code, would be a big waste of time.
