Hi Faeren,

Tucows has in-house billing solution called Platypus
(http://platypus.tucows.com/)
We're planning on integrating new generation of the client code with
Platypus, and offering this as a turn-key solution. No dates yet, but stay
tuned, it shouldn't take that long :)

Subject: Cleint Code and Billing functionality

Hey Everyone,

We wrote some extra Perl code to PGP encrypt credit card information and
sent it via email to our billing folks who then take that and process
it--but we are having trouble with Auto-Renewals in particular.

When we set a domain to auto-renew, we have to do so on a case by case
basis and keep their CC info on record--and somehow remember to charge
it once a year.

How are other currently handling billing for regular transactions and
auto-renewals. I am particularly interested in the latter.

Does Tucows have plans for any kind of billing interfaces/functionality
for future releases?

Any input to this will be appreciated.

Thanks.
