Lets hope so. It seems the contribution is currently stalled on apache actually getting some sources up and running with all copyleft code erased (they are still struggling with migrating to svn and getting a software grant from oracle with all the proper files). Which they hope might be possible this year. So it might be a while before we see any actual code. Hopefully it will be easy to adopt.
