I am not an expert about accessibility, but I recall that this is one of
the cases where top posting is the best choice. I suggest to have a
double check, though, as I am not competent in this domain.

I just checked with Peter op 't Hof, Dutch accessibility expert.
He says there is no accessibility problem with mail handling. Most important is that it's ascii. (I did not ask if the people that rely on special handling for accessibility, have to do some extra tolling or settings. But I imagine the people are informed well enough themselves.)

So accessibility can't be considered as a reason for different mail handling.
