I realize this is kind of a presumptuous thing to say, given that it's Jennifer who has taken on the real responsibility here, but:
Let's keep in mind that this Emily White thing will be peaking in people's attention only over the next three or four days. A response coming out not later than Monday would probably be a good balance between taking the time to get it right and striking while the iron is hot.
