I like it the way it is. Very cool.

 

My only complaint is the size of the absolute positioned header – it’s a little tall for widescreen laptops. If that was inline and scrolled with the page, you could see more of the descriptions and examples. Just a thought.

That's not true.  Selected items are extremely difficult to read.
:hover elements are challenging as well.
