Because I'm not. I have a USB N-in-1 dongle thing that can read SD cards, but when I plug in my 16GB SDHC card it goes crazy and doesn't show up on the bus. Smaller (non SDHC cards) work for me. I don't know if it is related to SDHC or what, but unless you tried different SDHC cards - some large and some small, I don't think you can say. I'd like to point out that you *never* stated what size SD cards you tried, whether they were SDHC, or really any detail whatsoever about what setup works and what doesn't. That sort of information is sometimes what makes or breaks a bug report. I strongly suspect that the instances where in worked something was different (e.g., you use a small SD card) because no one touched the code related to USB in eons.
