Hi, I want to ask some about usba. I try to exec this command: mouette@openindiana:~# update_drv -a -i '"usbif56a,30e"' usbwcm devfsadm: driver failed to attach: usbwcm Warning: Driver (usbwcm) successfully added to system but failed to attach
Then try to rename /kernel/drv/hid or remove this line of hid in /etc/driver_aliases, after reboot this system, plug this device, it still want call hid module. (appear msg that hid module not found) But i not found these codes about special assign hid driver in illumos-gate/usr/src/uts/common/io/usb/usba And i not understand why always attached by hid driver, so everyone can help me or give me a trace direction? Thanks a lot. 2015-02-15 13:35 GMT+08:00 Garrett D'Amore <[email protected]>: > The device is getting handled by the generic HID device which is probably > wrong.
