Keep in mind that zpool list shows you all the space in the pool including the space that is reserved for metadata (~3%), while zfs list will show you what space is available for each filesystems.
It's true you're out of space for everything except dpool/swap. It must have a reservation of 8GB. Factor in another 8GB reserved by the pool, and that's the 16GB of free space that zpool list shows. - George On Mon, Oct 12, 2015 at 8:33 AM, Rich <[email protected]> wrote: > I believe the difference here is that zpool list is telling you how much > space is not currently in-use on the pool (e.g. not allocated on-disk), so > when you have anything that is a reservation (including, IIRC, a zvol which > has not used its entire volsize/refreservation), there can be a difference > between zpool list and zfs list. > > There's also probably other accounting things that differ, but that's the > biggest one I'm aware of, and the one that I would guess is involved here. > > - Rich > > On Mon, Oct 12, 2015 at 5:20 AM, Richard PALO <[email protected]> wrote: > >> BTW, just to indicate how scary this was, after rebooting my keyboard >> would only display in uppercase... try to login with that ! >> >> Not sure the cause of that part, but luckily ssh still worked to access >> remotely. >> >> >> >> http://www.listbox.com >> > > *illumos-discuss* | Archives > <https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/182180/=now> > <https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/182180/21175546-1c273a48> | > Modify > <https://www.listbox.com/member/?&> > Your Subscription <http://www.listbox.com> > ------------------------------------------- illumos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/182180/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/182180/21175430-2e6923be Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21175430&id_secret=21175430-6a77cda4 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
