get OpenIndiana up and running would be appreciated

What model of machine?
A great many people have installed OpenIndiana in various flavors on
various x64 hardware without issue, so this is probably of interest to
someone if it's failing.

Hi all,
i had recently problems, and those are mostly related to USB 3.0 not
being good in legacy mode for USB 2.0 support ...
As consequence, only GUI DVD installation was possible for me....
Have you also tried with DVD (e.g. not USB installation)?
