I am having the same kind of problem in my Intel DG43GT based system but only
on ..a7.
I have a few Vbox instances running FreeBSD 9 running fine until I run a make
buildworld in one of them.
Solid hang, not even pingable and no messages in any log or on the console.
Same system works fine when I switch back to a5.
