With ZFS, you are now living in a post-hardware RAID world. Hardware RAID ceases to be a consideration in its entirety. If you require a RAID-6 level of data assurance, the equivalent is to design and make your zpools using the raidz2 format. > What HBAs are known to work? You can still run SATA drives of a SAS controller, however.
