You can limit that cache in advance with an entry in /etc/system, e.g., set zfs:zfs_arc_max = 0x20000000 (and reboot) caps this to 512 MB (or set it even smaller). Micky Hi Elima This sounds very much like you are running out of memory. Please note that VirtualBox uses all memory assigned to the guest immediatly.
