For people who aren't reflexively hostile toward this sort of thing, Richard Boland's "Managing as Designing" is a great place to start. It represents a variety of disciplines and includes essays by Frank Gehry, Richard Buchanan from the CMU School of Design and Peter Coughlan from IDEO. I wasn't insulted by it in the least.
