Very interesting discussion here. For someone who has been freelancing in the areas of UXD/ product strategy for the past few years, I notice a little oddity in the market these days: contrary to my expectation, given the dismal market sentiment, I see way too many openings for full time UX folk, than for freelance. Things may change as the bad news just keeps coming.
