Yes Andy, play is a particularly interesting form of interaction since
discovering the rules and possibilities of the game is often a major
component of the experience. 

Unlike game designers who selectively and deliberately obfuscate some
interactions, application & website designers usually want to make the
'rules of the game' as obvious as possible. Because game play is so
much about learning interaction rules it can offer valuable insights
in how to make non-game interfaces more discoverable and enjoyable.
