The reason I voted "waste of time" is not hap-hazzard. It is based in my experience. I got way too much redundancy between my own feed agregation and by having feed aggregators out there. I get this still here and there, but often now I use the redundancy as a sorta ad hoc "digg" effect. But with "planet" systems, the redundancy was just way too annoying.
