Hi All, I've been ask to think about a GUI concept for users who have never seen a computer before.
For the time being and inspiration I look for examples. Things like the GUI of the "one laptop per child" project: http://laptop.org/en/ The things i sort of decided on, are: - using a touch screen for direct interaction. Non direct interaction using keyboard or mouse will steepen the learning curve. - using color coded sections and working a lot with the concept of spatial recognitition. - I'm not sure on methaphors because of the different cultural interpretations of images and cognitive load. Examples, must-reads and tips are much appreciated. What are the thoughts.
